Parlor’s Ice Creams is Dallas’ ice cream shop. We serve classic scooped ice cream with super nostalgic flavors and make our ice cream the way it used to be made back in the day – from scratch, in-house. We source our ingredients from local businesses that use sustainable and organic practices that align with our values, when possible. We source, mix, age, pasteurize, bake, freeze, and scoop all in-house to create the best tasting ice cream out there. We also serve incredible customer service. Parlor’s Ice Creams has been selling our pints and scoops since October 2019 at local farmers markets and pop-ups. Our Hillside Village scoop shop in Lakewood is our first brick-and-mortar shop and we will be opening our second shop in University Park Summer 2026.

Scooper

Job Description: Scoopers are outgoing, cheerful, and strive to create a great customer experience for everyone who comes into the shop. A successful Scooper greets customers with a smile on their face, cheerfully takes their orders, and accurately takes their payment. Scoopers are always monitoring the cleanliness of the front of house. They also know our brand and processes inside-out and can answer any customer questions. Scoopers are also team players and give their creative input to help the brand grow!
Part-Time: (about 5-25 hours per week), Monday-Sunday, Holidays, flexible schedule.
Pay: pay with Tip Share: averages $13.00-$15.00 per hour

Shift Lead

Job Description: Shift Leads are happy, customer service-driven leaders who are self-driven, forward-thinking, and organized. They cheer their teammates along each shift and are always thinking of the next task that needs to get done. Shift Leads do it all – from aiding with production in the back-of-house to engaging with customers and scooping ice cream in the front-of-house. They keep the operations of the scoop shop running smoothly wherever and whenever needed.
Part-Time: (about 5-25 hours per week), Monday-Sunday, Holidays, flexible schedule.
Pay: pay with tip share averages $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Ice Cream Maker

Job Description: Ice Cream Makers are where it all begins – without them, we wouldn’t have our ice cream! They are responsible for prepping ingredients, assisting in mixing and freezing ice cream, and baking all of our baked goods and mix-ins. They are fast-paced, creative, and organized multi-taskers. Ice Cream Makers are always thinking of the next best flavors and are the heart of our little ice cream shop.
Part-Time: (about 15-25 hours per week), Monday-Sunday, Holidays, flexible schedule.
Pay: pay with tip share averages $15.00-$17.00 per hour
